Basic Training for YMCA Professionals

The National Council of the YMCAs of Sri Lanka has organized a Basic Training for YMCA Professionals from 07th to 13th July, 2017 at the YMCA Kamam Folk High School in Kallar. Eastern Region of Sri Lanka. The objective – Participants will acquire the skills required by a YMCA leader to initiate, plan, execute, monitor and control the YMCA operations and community involvement, with complete understanding of the YMCA Vision, Mission and Objectives, Christian Values, Social Responsibilities and Management Skills. The Curriculum – YMCA as a Christian Organization, Leading the YMCA as a Christ-centred Organization, Sustainable Programme Development in the YMCA, Strategic Planning in the YMCA, Resource Mobilization & Fundraising, Christian Stewardship and Financial Administration of the YMCA, Project & Proposals writing, Good Governance & Administration of the YMCA, Writing Minutes, Reports and effective communication, Contextual Theology & Social Response.
